Are you craving a punchy shot of robust coffee with just a little touch of sweetness? Take a sip of BARISTA CREATIONS Corto with a dash of milk, and let this powerful, dark roasted blend of African Arabicas and Robusta carry you away with its intense notes of roasted coffee and peppery spice. Enjoy its silky texture and lingering aftertaste.
ORIGIN
To create this intense, rich cup that hits a great harmony with milk, we tested plenty of different coffees from various countries of origin and we discovered that not all coffees interact well with milk. We selected a fine Ugandan Robusta to form the base of the blend. It brings the intensity, thick body and syrupy texture you expect to find in a Cortado recipe. We blend in the finest African Arabicas to complete this powerful profile. The diversity of the coffees in the blend gives it a real depth of character when you add a little touch of milk.
ROASTING
When you roast any coffee, you have to work at that fine balance of temperature, roast time and bean color. But it’s even more important when you want that coffee to be in ideal harmony with milk. For Corto that means split roasting the coffees for a long time in order to unleash the textures we’re looking for in a Spanish-style coffee. The long roast time – where we wait for the bean to reach a dark, rich roast colour – develops an alluring bitterness and that syrupy, thick body.
AROMATIC PROFILE
For BARISTA CREATIONS Corto taste we took our inspiration from the dark roasts and thick textures created by the expert baristas in Spain, that is why it is easily recognizable by its raw strength and intense, roasty character. Corto can punch through milk with its rich aftertaste, elegant bitterness, and a thick, textured body. With a dash of hot milk and milk froth crowning the cup, you’ll experience Corto in the traditional cortado recipe’s way. When you add milk, its sweetness softens the bitter note the way the moon lightens a dark night. Taste it with cow milk or with your favorite plant-based milk alternative: oat milk will be a perfect pair.

ROUND AND BALANCED COFFEE
From this important trading city, sailors navigated the globe in the quest of discovering a myriad of aromas and flavours. Latin American coffees were among the treasures they brought back from their explorations. Ispirazione Genova Livanto’s medium roast brings together in a beautiful balance all the rounded flavours of Brazilian, Colombian and Guatemalan coffees, crowned by their classic sweet caramel note.
ORIGIN
True to the character of northern Italian coffee Ispirazione Genova Livanto is an Arabica-centric blend with a complexity of tastes. We began with Brazilian Arabica – an approachable, mellow coffee. Into this base we blended reputable, high-grown Arabicas from Central and South America with malty and fruit profiles that develop beautifully during roasting. We chose them because they bring the delicate aromas and rounded taste northern Italian coffee is known for.
ROASTING
The coffee roasting tends to be lighter in the north of the country. That’s why we gave the coffees in Ispirazione Genova Livanto a medium roast that lands lighter than what you’ll find in the south but is still dark enough to develop those caramel and toasted cereal notes. It gives Ispirazione Genova Livanto that rounded mouthfeel and keeps its delicate acidity intact.
AROMATIC PROFILE
Ispirazione Genova Livanto is a smooth, rounded and delicately aromatic coffee. Its lighter roast develops the smooth and full body and keeps the finer aromas present. You’ll catch a toasted cereal fragrance and a sweet caramel note.

A drop of deliciousness: the essence of Italy’s iconic drinking tradition. Inspired by the ambassador of all Italian coffees, the ristretto, we chose not to imitate, but to roast our perfect version. Long roasted in part for body, short for brightness and fruit, this coffee is the culmination of all we explored in the emblematic Italian cup.

Italians say coffee is all about the four Ms of miscela, macinazione, macchina, and mano. Crafting Ispirazione Ristretto Italiano with respect for this Italian classic begins with the blend – the miscela. Ispirazione Ristretto Italiano is a sophisticated recipe of coffees - both Arabica and Robusta - that each lends its distinct personality to create this iconic Italian taste. We crafted it to reflect the elegance and excellence of Italian culture and coffee. On top of a neutral base of Brazilian Arabica comes a dash of Robusta from South India. It adds a kick to Ispirazione Ristretto Italiano. The best of South American and East African Arabicas add a hint of a crisp fruit note to the Ristretto Italiano pod.
ROASTING
Split roasting means you can taste what each coffee brings to the cup. The long-roasted Robusta coffee gives Ispirazione Ristretto Italiano its body, its roastiness, and its cocoa bitterness. Putting the Arabica coffees through a quick roast keeps their bright acidity and fruity notes alive and gives Ispirazione Ristretto Italiano more in the cup. This classic split-roast has average intensity and roasting time. The batches are separated in arabicas and robustas for a more precise roast.
MILK DESCRIPTION
In a latte machiatto, Istanbul is surprisingly aromatic, with exotic fruit notes and a jammy touch. It is also sweet and smooth, with a cereal finish.

Sweet and light. Delightfully balanced cereal and fruity notes. Volluto has an easy way about it. And Volluto Decaffeinato is faithful to form - Brazilian and Colombian coffees are carefully composed and now gently decaffeinated - for very sunny living.
ORIGIN
Just as with the original, Volluto Decaffeinato is a blend of pure Arabicas from Latin America. The gentle decaffeination process removes the caffeine naturally - but you won’t get any dramatic change in character. We still play with all the parameters of blend, roast and grind to get Volluto Decaffeinato to match the original Volluto Arabica coffee blend as closely as possible. So you’ll still get the mellow cereal notes of the Brazil beneath a soft hint of acidity and the red fruit notes of the washed Colombian.
ROASTING
Volluto Decaffeinato is split-roasted to bring out the unique characteristics of each coffee. A short roast unfolds the sweet biscuit notes of the Brazilian Arabica. The finer fruit aromatics you taste from the Colombian Arabica coffee are developed in its longer light roast.
AROMATIC PROFILE
This Nespresso decaf espresso is sweet and smooth, rich and round, just like Volluto - but without caffeine. The balanced light taste of Volluto Decaffeinato makes for very sunny living.
